It takes time to grow and old friend

Time passes, lives change, friendship remain.   

After a 20 year interval  I joined my friends in Asheville NC for a mothers day reunion.  The last time we celebrated motherhood in such a fashion we were younger certainly, but the lines on our faces and the gray in our hair is a proud testimonial to the children we have raised, the careers we have made and the lives we have touched.  My friends are strong, confident woman and my life is enriched by their knowledge.  Thanks for the great weekend Darlene and Karen.  I look forward to next year!
