When you least expect it

My brother tells the story in his own blog http://www. dp1meanderings.blogspot.com about how we came across the situation resulting in this photo.  It brings home the point about always keeping your eyes open for opportunities.  We were well on our way to nowhere when we stumbled on this glorious sunrise shot in Bryce Canyon. It was a bitter cold morning and we jumped out of the car without hat, gloves or anything resembling proper attire for the elements. When I look at the photos now, I don't think about the cold, just how beautiful the day began.
