And so it begins......

I continue to be amazed at how modern technology allows people to be in contact, sharing the details of their lives instantly with others around the globe.  This is something that my grandchildren will take for granted. I am not envious, for their future will have demands placed on their time and energy that we cannot even imagine.  So, although I never thought I would ever "blog", I jump with both feet firmly into the future. I begin this blog as a further extension of my growing love for photography as well as an opportunity to "journal" the experiences of my life and travels.  Any comments or suggestions will be gratefully considered.
